What is Quran Quest?
Quran Quest is a unique team-based competition that brings people together to explore the meanings of the Quran through Tafsir. It's a fun and educational one-day event where teams compete in answering questions based on a selected Surah's Tafsir.

Not Just Memorization - Understanding!
Unlike traditional Quran competitions focused on memorization, Quran Quest emphasizes comprehension and understanding through Tafsir. This approach helps participants connect more deeply with the Quran's messages and apply its wisdom to their daily lives.
Who Can Participate?
Quran Quest welcomes Muslims from across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, organized into four exciting levels to ensure age-appropriate learning and competition.
Level 1 - 4th-5th Grade
Young learners begin their Quran Quest journey with age-appropriate Tafsir materials and engaging activities.
Level 2 - Middle School (6th–8th)
Middle schoolers explore deeper meanings with guided discussions and collaborative learning.
Level 3 - High School (9th–12th)
High school students engage with complex Tafsir concepts and contemporary applications.
Level 4 - Families & Friends (Any age mix)
Multi-generational teams create meaningful connections across ages while learning together.
Team Formation
Form teams of 2 to 5 members within your age group.
Mix different strengths, personalities, and learning styles to create the perfect Quran Quest team!

How it Works

Surah & Tafsir Assignment
Each level receives a carefully selected Surah with comprehensive Tafsir materials to study and understand.

Study Materials Provided
Teams receive detailed study guides, which are must-reads

Optional Tafsir Sessions
Join optional Tafsir sessions led by knowledgeable volunteers to deepen understanding.

Team Preparation
Teams collaborate to study the Tafsir, discuss meanings, and prepare for various question formats.

Competition Day
Teams compete in a live quiz with multiple choice and open-ended questions about their assigned Surah.
